Do You Suspect Your Nanny
When you entrust the care of your children to someone, they can look great on paper however their actions when they are alone with your children will tell the tale.
A recent horror story in Ohio, detailed how a nanny swung an 18-month-old boy in a zipped up sleeping bag and he hit walls and door frames and suffered head injuries to the point it caused his death. It was originally presented as a case of rough play gone bad, however there were some serious holes in the babysitter's story and no one will ever know the true story of what really happened to the little boy.
If you want to know exactly how your new nanny is acting with your children, use the services of a nanny cam. They are wireless, easy to install and won't be detected as they are hidden in common everyday objects. Since there's no tell-tale wiring running from the cam to any walls, they can be hidden in an alarm clock (that actually works and tells the time to avoid any suspicion), a cuddly stuffed animal that can sit on a shelf or a pretty doll. Other items that a hidden nanny cam is often found in include books, speakers and mirrors. Any of these items can let you get the real scoop of what is actually happening when you leave your children with your babysitter.
Warning signs all may not be well is if your baby seems to fear your nanny or is otherwise unwilling to be left alone. Don't confuse common separation anxiety that many babies have with this - as a parent you'll see the difference. Also look for attitude or behavior changes in your child. Children that are suddenly being mistreated are confused and especially if they are too young to express what is happening to them verbally, they may simply become introverted and clingy.
If you feel something may be amiss with your nanny, don't wait another second and use a nanny cam to set your mind at ease. It will let you know immediately if your feelings are right on target or not.
